Ahmed Martin, Principal
Ahmed has a unique real estate development background with over 10 years of experience that includes both construction and real estate financing within private sector and not-for-profit organizations.
He has worked in market rate and affordable-housing development in various capacities. His experience includes leadership roles in the non-profit and for-profit sectors which has provided him with a keen perspective and ability to navigate within and between for-profit development entities, community-based organizations, financial institutions, and government agencies.
Ahmed has been involved in the planning, construction, and management of mixed-income communities that utilize public/private partnership financing. He has provided project management services for historic renovations, rehabilitations as well as new construction of single family and multi-family projects totaling over $250M.
After graduating from Wesleyan University, Ahmed was selected as a Rockefeller Foundation CUREX scholar, which is an urban planning graduate program accredited through the University of Pennsylvania.
He is also a LEED Green Associate, certified Economic Development Finance Professional, a member of the Urban Land Institute and The United States Green Building Council.
